We didn't start building saunas just because we could carve something out of wood. We started building them because we felt we wanted to offer more. More than just a nook and cranny in the garden. More than just a quick "ready made solution".
Estcomhaus was born out of our own desire to create something with feeling. Something where you forget time when you step inside, where you smell pure natural wood, where you hear nothing but silence and the sound of throwing a broom, and where every detail is exactly as it should be. For us, a sauna is a way of life, a space that invites you in. A place to breathe deeply and be truly present.
We have more than 18 years of experience in woodworking, engineering and design. During this time we have learned to value simplicity, integrity of materials and Nordic moderation. We don't compromise on finish or selection. Each of our saunas is handcrafted - as we would make our own for our own home. And if we don't make something for ourselves, we don't offer it to others.
Our work doesn't end when the sauna is finished. It's important to us that the whole process - from the first idea to sitting down with the stove - is smooth, clear and peaceful. As a good sauna experience should be.
One day we measure and cut, the next day we discuss finishes and logistics with customers. Sometimes we drive around Estonia, sometimes we sit at the kitchen table and write down the plans for the next sauna. There's no glamorous office, no set end to the day - but there's a pace, people and the knowledge that we're doing something of value. Creating something we can be proud to hand over. And that feeling - when a customer opens the door to the sauna for the first time - that makes all the effort worth it.
