FAQ

Answers to your questions

Which sauna is suitable for an electric heater and which for a wood-burning heater?

Our smallest sauna, the Arico, is designed for the electric heater - comfortable, compact and easy to connect.
The Arico model offers more freedom of choice: it can be fitted with both electric and wood-burning stoves, depending on your sauna experience preference. Want a quick and easy solution? Choose an electric heater. Prefer a traditional sauna? A wood-burning stove creates a real feeling.

Our sauna prices are inclusive of VAT and depend primarily on the design and choice of interior materials. Thermally insulated constructions belong to the Premium class and create a solution for year-round use.

  • Arico Basic (uninsulated, 42 mm thermal barrier): 5300 €

  • Arico Premium (75 mm stone wool, thermo pine finish): 6700 €

  • Arona Basic (insulated ceiling, 42 mm thermal pine): 6750 €

  • Arona Premium (fully insulated, 75 mm stone wool, thermal pine): 7900 €

The interior finish can be selected from samples. If you choose special materials, the price may change slightly - we will always clarify this before confirmation.

Premium saunas come in larger panels and can be assembled by a novice builder in 3-5 hours on average.
Basic versions come in smaller pieces and take more time to assemble - a full day.

Both versions come with a comprehensive assembly guide that is logical and easy for the beginner.

In Estonia we can deliver Basic saunas assembled. They are shipped abroad in parts with precise instructions.

If you wish, we can offer a professional assembly service in Estonia - we will always agree this with the customer separately.

Transport is always arranged according to the customer's location and the type of sauna.
In Estonia, Basic saunas can be delivered preassembled, without a crane - access permitting.
In some cases, a forklift or additional equipment may be required. Premium saunas are delivered in panels or parts and can be assembled on site if required.

Yes, quality starts with the material. Our frame wood comes from Estonia, our thermo wood comes from Estonian and Finnish producers. We use only reliable, durable and environmentally friendly materials that are suitable for Nordic conditions, both visually and durably.

Estcomhaus was born in South Estonia - amidst quiet forests, crisp mornings and wood-smelling workdays. We are an Estonian company with deep roots in the local woodworking tradition. We have been making furniture frames for other manufacturers since 2006, but at some point we felt it was time to step out on our own.

In the summer of 2024, the idea for the Estcomhaus sauna was born from the desire to create something special, something Nordic, but at the same time special and modern.

Today, we make saunas that combine our long experience, Nordic aesthetics and passion for creating fully finished products.

Estcomhaus saunas are designed for people who are looking for more than just a place to sweat. Our saunas - with precision-cut joints, impeccable finishes, and structural perfection - create a whole that stands the test of time and creates a place you want to stay just as it is, forever.

Every sauna is the best version of itself: no hiding behind the trim, corners are properly sealed, every connection point is part of the overall design. The roof's breathable construction ensures that the indoor climate is balanced all year round - whatever the weather or the location.

These are saunas for those who appreciate quality, luxury, functionality and beauty. Clients who are used to choosing slowly and thoughtfully will recognise their values here - tranquillity, quality and elegance.

Every one of our saunas is designed for real life - not just for a pretty picture. Thanks to efficient insulation and construction, the sauna heats up quickly, which means less waiting and more enjoying the moment. The spacious layout and the glass-walled solution create the feeling of being part of the surrounding nature while relaxing.

Estcomhaus saunas are built to last in the harshest Nordic conditions. All our models can withstand severe sub-zero temperatures and are suitable for use all year round.

Premium models, fully insulated, warm up quickly and retain heat efficiently - even in heavy frost. These saunas are the ideal choice if you want maximum comfort and energy efficiency, even at -20°C.

Basic models, with partial insulation, are also suitable for winter use, but at temperatures below -10°C, thermal performance may be more modest and heating times slightly longer. We recommend taking this into account if you plan to use the sauna frequently during the cold season.

All our saunas can also be used in winter - just choose the model that suits your needs.

  • Arona Basic: ~900 kg

  • Arico Basic: ~600 kg

  • Arona Premium: ~1100 kg

  • Arico Premium: ~800 kg

The weight of each model includes the complete structure, and additional items such as the stove and chimney system need to be taken into account.

The sauna's substrate must be able to support the full weight of the structure. Underneath each sauna, there are prepared footings to allow installation on both concrete blocks and terraces. The best results are achieved on a flat, stable and well water-conducting surface - for example, a cast slab or a terrace with a solid frame. An installation plan is provided. If necessary, we can help you find a suitable solution.

We deliver our saunas to all countries around the world. Each order is coordinated individually, taking into account the legislation of the country of destination, the transport possibilities and the customer's needs.

International transport takes place by land and sea.

  • Up to 8 saunas in a sea container

  • For large trucks up to 10 saunas
All delivery conditions, unloading facilities and lifting needs will be agreed according to the destination country and local conditions. Estcomhaus will help every step of the way to ensure that the sauna arrives safely and in good condition.

In Estonia, the delivery time is between 4-8 weeks, depending on the season and model.
For international delivery, the timeframe depends on the destination country and logistics - we do our homework before confirming the order to ensure smooth and timely delivery even in more complex destinations (e.g. USA).

In Estonia, you do not need a special permit for installation.
Abroad, it depends on local and national building codes - for example, in Sweden, a permit is mandatory. We can help with advice and information before the order is placed, so the customer does not have to worry about it.

A well-maintained Estcomhaus sauna will last for up to 20 years or more.
Regular maintenance, a good quality substrate and proper use are essential to ensure that the quality and aesthetics of your sauna will last for years to come.

All saunas are covered by a 2-year guarantee in Estonia.
For international orders, we will find out the minimum guarantee requirements for the country of destination to ensure compliance and peace of mind for every customer.

Yes, with proper maintenance, the quality and lifespan of your sauna will be maintained for decades.
Indoor areas need annual maintenance - cleaning and treatment with special products (such as sauna oils and waxes).
Exterior finishes should be refreshed every 1-2 years, depending on weather conditions.
Floors should be treated with floor oil to ensure resistance to wear. For the candle, the maintenance recommendations of the specific manufacturer should be followed.

No separate waterconnection is required unless the customer requests additional solutions.
