HUUM HIVE 18 is a powerful and eye-catching electric heater designed for larger saunas where users want to combine high heating capacity, a large stone mass, and a gentle sauna experience. The rounded design, inspired by a beehive, leaves the sauna stones fully visible and transforms the heater into a central element of the sauna’s interior design. The stainless steel details and natural stone surface blend particularly well with the atmosphere of a modern Nordic sauna.
The HIVE 18 has a power output of 18 kW and is suitable for steam rooms ranging from 18 to 28 m³. The heater’s greatest advantage is its exceptionally large capacity for sauna stones—up to 250 kg. This large mass of stones stores a great deal of heat and, when water is added, produces a gentle, rich, and long-lasting steam. For this reason, the HIVE is particularly well-suited for larger family and social saunas, where users wish to enjoy longer sauna sessions and consistent heat.
The stove’s rounded shape allows it to serve as a spacious and natural element in the sauna, and it can also be used as a central design feature in the room. Starting in 2025, HIVE models will come standard with an air tunnel integrated into the stove’s structure.
In addition to the heater , our package includes sauna stones, the HUUM UKU 4.2 WiFi Glass Black control system, and wooden safety rails. WiFi control allows you to conveniently operate the sauna using both the elegant glass-fronted control panel and a mobile app—you can start heating the sauna before you arrive and easily set the desired temperature remotely.
The wooden safety rail complements the HIVE’s rounded design and makes the area around the heater safer, while maintaining the heater’s open and airy appearance. HUUM recommends using the safety rail with the HIVE heater to ensure additional safety and ease of use.
HUUM HIVE 18 is an excellent choice for those who want a powerful, premium-class heater for a large sauna, a very large stone capacity, a gentle and long-lasting steam, and convenient smart control.
